Our Tour Managers/Drivers
Our Tour Managers/Drivers are highly experienced in the management of people from all corners of the globe. They each have an intimate knowledge of local customs, procedural matters relating to golf and related services in Scotland and understand our general company philosophy of going that extra mile to ensure positive outcomes every time. Our Vehicles
We are constantly looking at our vehicle requirements to ensure our capacity to meet demand. During 2009 we operated 2 beautifully equipped Mercedes Sprinter touring vans (8 passenger seats) and a brand new high specification Iveco Daily (8 passengers) with full leather, DVD, Fridge etc; Our Operator licensing further permits us to draw down on the use of a luxury Volkswagon Caravelle, ideal for 4 passengers and localized shuttle work as required. |

Our service delivery is second to none where we aim to both meet customer expectations and substantially exceed them. Our drivers are courteous and friendly without compromise. In all respects our services extend beyond driving to ensure the successful management of all aspects of your time in our care and includes;
- Baggage handling
- Assistance at all check-ins (accommodation, golf etc;)
- Arrangement of caddies on behalf of our clients
- Phoning ahead to confirm all reservations with expected times of arrival

Rental transportation - Self Drive
Gryphon Golf Tour preferred supplier Avis and partner offers a broad selection of vehicles. The typical rental for a group of 4 Golfers is a Renault Espace Mini-Van (Automatic transmission )or the Vauxhall Zafira ( Manuel transmission ) which can comfortably accommodate 4 sets of Clubs and and substantial luggage. For groups of 2 or less there are numerous mid size or compact cars both automatic and manuel.
Insurance Requirements:
- Overseas visitors must produce a valid Domestic Licence and/or International Driving Permit and valid passport.
- Licence/Permit must be for the current period of the rental and have been held for a minimum of 12 months.
- Drivers must be 25 years or over.
